地震被害！felisはあなたの助けが必要です！

助けてください！felisはあなたの助けが必要です。
PLEASE HELP! FELIS NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!

三陸沖を震源とする東北地方太平洋沖地震により、
亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈り申し上げますとともに、被災された皆様、そのご家族の方々に対しまして、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
一日も早い復旧復興をお祈り申し上げます。
felisの猫ちゃん達は、怪我ひとつなく無事です！
ご心配くださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。
里親様、並びに猫ちゃん達はご無事でしょうか？
もし何かありましたら、ご連絡下さい。出来る限りのサポートいたします。

地震の影響で、これからどれくらいの期間か分かりませんが、営業不能となっております。
現在は様子を見ながら出来る限り営業を再開しておりますが、栃木県内の被害状況により、不規則に営業停止をせざるを得ない状況で、お客様も大変少ない状態にあります。
しかし、収入は少なくとも、猫たちの食費・医療費は日々必要です。
フェリスはレストランであると同時に、猫の為のシェルターでもあります。
現在収入の殆どをお客様がご飲食してくださっている利益によってまかなっております。
この収入が激減したことにより、フェリスの経営状態が大変困難な状況になっています。
どのくらいの期間でお客様がまた足を運んでくださることが出来るか、予想がつきません。
もし、この状態が長く続くようであれば、felisは存続することができません。
Due to the earthquake, Felis closed its doors for a day and a half. The restaurant is fully operational and open again, but there are very few customers during this time of crisis. Felis, which is a restaurant that doubles as a shelter for cats, relies almost exclusively on revenue from customers that dine at the restaurant to keep the lights on and the cats fed. Without this revenue, Felis' financial condition is deteriorating rapidly. We cannot predict how long it will be before customers return to the restaurant, but if this condition continues much longer, we will reach the end of the road.

felisを存続させること、ひいては猫を守るために皆様の募金が必要です。
お願い致します。レストランとシェルターを守るため、felisのコンセプト（詳しくは felisとは？をご覧下さい。）を続けるため、ご協力をいただけないでしょうか。

felisとは？
○元々は群馬県前橋市にて、2004年にボランティア団体として発足。5年間里親会や講演会などを中心に活動してきました。ですが、「猫を助けたい」という強い想いと、使命を果たすにはボランティア団体だけの活動では、人的供給、資金的供給に大変苦労しました。これでは、猫たちのサポーターとしての役割を果たせない、この5年間の活動の中で、協力してくださった多くの方々のためにも、ここで止めるわけにはいかない。どうしたら安定した活動基盤をつくれるのだろうか。
猫と人が共に幸せであること。そのために一生猫と共に生きたい。
様々な試行錯誤を重ねて、私たちは活動母体を二つに分けることを決断しました。
ボランティア団体フェリス - 非営利団体だから出来ること。株式会社Felis - 営利事業だから出来ること。互いが出来ることを合わせ、より大きな「出来ること」を作っていきます。猫と人が共に幸せであるために。

○シェルターとしての役割。
Felisの猫達は、全て行き場のない捨て猫や野良猫です。
様々な事情により、Felisで新しい家族を待っています。Felisは皆さんと、そして里親を必要とする猫にとって、ペットショップに代わる、最高の家族との出会いの場となり、さらに、シェルターとしての機能を担うことが目標です。ただのペットとしてではなく、かけがえのない家族として想いあえる。そんな関係を築いて頂く為に、何度でもゆっくりと猫達との時間を過ごして頂き、猫達の様々な個性を理解していただいた上で、本当にぴったりなパートナーを見つけていただきたい。その為Felisでは、時間ごとの料金を設けておりません。
人間によって傷付けられてしまった猫達も、人間の愛情によって癒され、本当の幸せを手にする事ができると考えております。1つでも多くのチャンスを与えたい。

WHAT IS FELIS?

Launched in July 2009, Felis operates as an Italian restaurant and cat shelter in Utsunomiya-city, serving a variety of Italian and Italian-Japanese dishes, with a full bar, and 30 cats that roam the restaurant, all available for adoption. As far as we know, this has never been done before, anywhere. It is the first of twenty restaurants. President/Founder Ms. Kurumi Iwasaki has set a goal of having at least twenty locations within 10 years, with each location sheltering 30 cats. Once this goal is attained, Felis would have the capacity to serve as a cat shelter for 600 cats, and hopes to become a total support company for cats and cat lovers! By creating such a company, Iwasaki hopes to accomplish several things. First, to raise awareness that cats and other animals are beautiful creatures that ought to be treated in a humane manner, and that humans can benefit in many ways from coexisting with animals. Second, to create a reliable, on-going for-profit enterprise that generates a positive social return, and fills a social service "gap" that volunteer organizations and government organizations cannot fulfill due to various constraints. Third, to show the world that a business that provides a positive net social return is one that is profitable and personally fulfilling for its members. All for the love of cats and fellow humans alike!
