Town of yearning drawn in my mind

'New Orleans'

アメリカのルイジアナ州南東部

Downstate east part of the

United States in Louisiana

ミシシッピー河畔の港市　

Port city in Mississippi banks of a river

ジャズ発祥の地『ニューオーリンズ』

Jazz birthplace'New Orleans'

幾多の、困難、苦難を乗り越えた街　

Town where it drinks and difficult ,

and hardship were got over many

何年か前にも大災害に見舞われた!!　

It suffered from the catastrophe

it was years how many ago.

街の大半が水没してしまった。

The majority of the town have

gone under water.

でも、不死鳥のように、再び復活する。

However, it revives again like

the phoenix.

貧しい庶民が暮らす、ありふれた街

Living of the poor people,

and ordinary towns

けして、豊かでは無いと思える街

Town that seems to erase,

and not to exist in richness

庶民の底知れないパワーを感じる街

Town where people's unfathomed

power is felt

それが『ニューオーリンズ』だ。

It is 'New Orleans. '

悲哀と絶望との中から生まれ育まれて来た、

It was born and brought up from the inside

of the sorrow and despair.

魂の叫びを知らせる音楽

Music that informs of calling out soul
It was concealed under a cheerful smile.

陽気な笑顔の下に隠された

心の悲しみを知らせる音楽

Music that informs of sadness of mind

瞳の奥の静かな哀愁の表現方法

Mode of expression of quiet sorrow

in interior of pupil

rhythm feeling overflows

Master of mind of me who exceeds age

君のハスキーな、しゃがれた声も温かみがあった

Your husky voice that had gotten

hoarse also had warmth.
