Town where people's unfathomed

power is felt

雑多な人ごみの中に安らぎを得る街

Town where relief is obtained

in various person garbage

果てしない夢と希望を追いつづける街

Town where it keeps chasing

unmeasured dream and hope

それが『ニューオーリンズ』だ。

小さな小鳥に託した一通のメッセージ

One message entrusted to small small bird

素敵な歌声の小鳥から確かにメッセージを受け取りました。

The message was certainly received from

a wonderful singing voice small bird.

この爺は、どうすれば良いと言うのですか??

How does this grandfather say that he only has to do?

アポロン様、私は愚図な爺です

Apollon and I are laggard grandfathers.

毎日の仕事に追われて疲れ果てました

It was chased and it was exhausted with daily chores.

トランペットを吹くという行為は忘れてしまいました

The act of trumpet has been forgotten.

と言うか体力が残っていません

Physical strength doesn't remain saying.

既に5年以上もトランペットを吹いていません

It has not already trumpeted for five years or more.

情熱も意気消沈状態です

Zeal is in the state of the depression.

萎えたハートは、いつも不安定な雰囲気です

A withering heart is always unstable atmosphere.

心の奥底に仕舞い込んである1つの今にも消えそうな炎

One flame that seems to be going to disappear

at any moment put away to bottom of mind

それを再び赤々と燃やせと言うのですか!!

Do you tell it to burn the flame again brightly?

心のゆとりも時間も無い其の日暮をしています

It is as for the living of the day without

the composure of the mind and time.

後は棺桶に入るのを楽しみに過ごしています

It is spent to enter the coffin for the enjoyment now.

この爺に少しは休息を下さい

Please give the rest to this grandfather a little.

私のハートを休ませて下さい、お願いします!!

Let me take a rest from my heart, and I hope.

年老いた体では無理を出来ないのです

Impossibility cannot be done in an aged body.

今は非常にジレンマに陥っています

It drifts into a dilemma very much now.

家に帰り眠れば体を癒すことが出来ますが

Though the body can be healed if it returns

to the house and it sleeps

心の空虚感を補うことは出来ません

The feeling of emptiness of the mind

cannot be supplemented.

神様お願いです!!

It is asking for the god.

この年老いた体にパワーとエネルギーを下さい

Please give power and energy to this aged body.

もしも願いが叶うのであれば、青年時代のように
To the way in one's younger days if the wish is fulfilled

素晴らしい楽器の響きを、魂を込めて吹きましょう!!

Let's put the soul and blow the sound

of wonderful musical instruments.

いかなる悪条件であろうとも

Though any bad condition

弛(たゆ)まぬ努力をしましょう

Let's do the effort not to loosen.

最初から、やり直しです

It is a re-doing first.

愛するトランペットに命を吹き込みましょう。

Let's blow in the life to the loved trumpet.

例え例え、明日は我が身が、朽ち果てようとも

It compares, it compares, and my body

will rot away tomorrow.

爺は、それで満足です!!

Then, the grandfather is satisfied.

いつまでも夢と希望を忘れずに追い続けます

It keeps chasing it forgetting neither

the dream nor hope indefinitely.

そして友達と一緒にニューオリンズへ行きます

And, it goes to New Orleans with the friend.
