(眼力社での不思議体験)
A mysterious experience at Ganrikisha Shrine(the Eye Power Shrine).
恒例に従い、私はここでも狐像や祠の周りに蝋燭を灯して回った。しかし、不思議な現象はその時に起こった！ 突然、闇夜を切り裂く獣の雄叫びのような音が鳴り響いたのだ。音の方向を見ると、それは先程私が蝋燭を灯した大きな燭台の一つだった。その燭台が回転する音だったのだ。燭台が設置されているのは平らな祭壇なのでそれは自然には動くはずはない。また、その夜は快晴だったので風雨が原因でもない。しかも、燭台はかなり大型で回転部分が錆びており自然に動くことは考えられなかった。
私はそれは魔物の仕業であると判断し、私は自分の身を護るために素早くブラフマンを体内に取り入れた。そうして、私は神通力を用いて自分の気配を消したのである。
燭台は約四分の一ほど回転して停止した。そうして、また静寂が辺りを支配したのである。 暫く経過した後に、私は神通力を解き辺りを見廻した。どうやら、もう何事も起こらないようだった。危機は過ぎ去ったと判断した私は稲荷山回廊の徘徊を再開した。
あの不思議な夜から約半年が経過した。 今になってあの出来事を考えてみると、あれは魔物の襲撃や悪戯ではなく、眼力社の精霊が私に蝋燭供養のお礼を表したのだと思う。
私もまだまだ修行を続けなければならない。

It was a mysterious experience. I was wandering around Fushimi Inari Shrine and Mt. Inari at night to shoot. In fact, for the past several months, I had been lighting candles at key points in Mt. Inari for shooting. The destination tonight is Ganrikisha Shrine(the Eye Power Shrine). It is a company where a fox statue with a unique shape that looks like a handstand is enshrined.
As usual, I lit candles around fox statues and shrines here as well. But a strange phenomenon happened at that time! Suddenly, the sound of a beast screaming through the dark night resounded. Looking at the direction of the sound, it was one of the large candlesticks I lit a candle. It was the sound of the candlestick rotating. Since it is a flat altar with a candlestick, it cannot move naturally. The weather was fine that night, so it wasn't due to the weather. Moreover, the candlestick was quite large and the rotating part was rusted, so it was unlikely that it would move naturally.
I determined it was a monster's work, and I quickly incorporated Brahman into my body to protect myself. Thus, I used mysterious power to put out my indication.
The candlestick rotated about a quarter and stopped. And again, silence dominated the area. After a while, I unraveled mysterious power and looked around. Apparently, nothing seemed to happen anymore. I decided that the crisis had passed and resumed wandering around the Inari Corridor.
About half a year has passed since that strange night. Considering that event now, it's not a monster raid or a mischief, but the spirit of Ganrikisha Shrine might have thanked me for offering the candle.
I still have to keep training.
