§0. Silence and Consent
As of 2023, many of us often combine the two concepts of "Silence" and "Consent", and utter the phrase "Silence is Consent".
The British philosopher, John Locke is known for linking these two concepts.
The connection between the two concepts was made in his "Two Treatises of Government" (published in 1690), but he did not make a strict distinction between them and the following concept, which is similar to "Consent" (Takumichi Kojo (2013, p.22)).

It has been more than 330 years since one of the memes, "Silence is Consent" or "Silence gives Consent," took root among most people on earth.
When man-made disasters such as injustice, oppression, and oppressions caused by human beings themselves come upon those who remain silent, those who have remained silent will have the physical freedom to speak out against them, but they will not be qualified to do so.

Unfortunately, Russia's aggression and invasion against Ukraine are still going on THIS NEW YEAR'S DAY.

We often refer to disasters caused by a few selfish people as man-made disasters.
Unfortunately, 【man-made disasters】, unfortunate for many people, are not just happening in Ukraine.
Below is a list of issues that I can recall immediately that involve events that occurred last year and continue to this day.
However, I will not reiterate the information URLs on which my perception is based.
All of those URLs have already been mentioned by myself in some form or another on the WorldWideWeb.
Now, it is Iran that is producing and supplying the 【Shahed 】series of unmanned surveillance bombers that Russia is using to attack Ukraine.
In the Muslim world, led by Iran and Afghanistan, the violation of women's basic human rights, the suppression of their freedom to express their will, and the oppression of their people continue.
The persecution of Palestinians by the pro-US Israeli government and the treatment of Kurds by the Turkish government.
Turkey is a member of NATO, but it has been enduring a vicious cycle of human rights violations for the last century.
The drones used by both Ukraine and Russia for reconnaissance were developed by a Chinese company.
The computer program that controlled the drones had the ability to detect its own and other companies' drones, but at some point, only the Ukrainian drone detection function became inoperable.
This was enough for third parties to suspect that China was complicit in contributing to Russia's war effort.
The Chinese government oppresses the Uyghurs and arrests many of its people based on their activities prior to the enforcement of the National State Security Law in Hong Kong.
The abnormality of using pre-enforcement activities as the legal basis for arrest clearly reveals the viciousness of the CCP leadership.
As of December 2022, North Korea's move to provide arms to Russia was evident.
North Korea has a history of abducting Japanese nationals, and the wounds of the abductees and their families have not healed.
There are still many abductees who have not returned alive from their abductions and whose safety has not been reported.
Distancing itself from the UN, Myanmar's military regime continues to oppress its own people and democratic activists more than the situation in Ukraine.
On December 17, 2022, actress Taraneh Alidoosti was arrested by the Iranian government for statements she made in an Instagram post(AFP Middle East 2022).

The statement was this.
"Your silence means the support of the oppression and the oppressor. His name was Mohsen Shekari. every international organization who is watching this bloodshed and not taking action, is a disgrace to humanity"(ibid.).
Iran's semi-official news agency 【Tasnim News Agency】 reported that Taraneh Alidoosti was arrested for "publishing false and distorted content and inciting chaos" (loc.cit.).
This is a truly ludicrous reason for the arrest.
It is as if the Iranian government is telling the world that it is regularly practicing an oppressive regime that can't be left laughing at a single comment made by an Academy Award-winning actress.
Alidoosti's Instagram comments have now been deleted, and the corresponding archive on InternetArchive is now malfunctioning.

The statements made by Alidoosti were reported by many media outlets, including "The NewYork Times" (Engelbrecht 2022).

The mere fact that two people were publicly executed was enough to make Alidoosti's point.
What facts, beyond the persuasiveness of the public execution, could she have presented as evidence that she would not have been arrested?
In any case, there is no justification for the Iranian government's series of actions.
It is clear that a common trait lurks in every country that turns its attention to Russia's aggression and invasion of Ukraine and shows signs of complicity with Russia.
The same ugly ideology of dictatorship, oppression, inequality, and the preservation of an undocumented status quo is lurking in these countries.
So each and every one of us must speak out.

【沈黙は同意である(Silence is Consent)】或いは【沈黙は同意を与える(Silence gives Consent)】という、ミームの一つが、地球人の多くに根付いてから、330年以上経過しているわけだ。

さて、ロシアがウクライナを攻撃するのに用いている無人偵察爆撃機【Shahed】シリーズを生産供与しているのはイランである。
イランやアフガニスタンを筆頭とするイスラム圏では、女性の基本的人権の侵害や、意志表示の自由が抑圧され、人々への弾圧が続いている。
親米イスラエル政府によるパレスチナ人への迫害、トルコ政府によるクルド人へ処遇。
トルコはNATO加盟国であるが、人権に関しては、悪質性の際立つ施策が前世紀から耐えずに継続されている。
ウクライナ及びロシア双方が、偵察にもちいてたドローンは、中国の企業が開発していたものだ。
そのドローンを管理するコンピューター・プログラムには、自社及び他社製ドローンを探知機能があったが、ある時期から、ウクライナ側の、ドローン探知機能だけが不能になる事態が起こった。
この事態は、中国がロシアの戦果に寄与する様に、加担している事を、第三者が疑うのに、十分な事実であった。
中国政府は、ウイグル人を虐げ、香港では、国家安全法施行前の活動を根拠に、多くの人民を逮捕している。
法施行前の活動を逮捕の法的根拠とする異常性に、中国共産党指導部の悪質性が明瞭に顕れている。
2022年12月時点で、北朝鮮がロシアに武器を供与する動きが明らかになった。
その北朝鮮は、日本人を拉致した過去があり、拉致被害者と、その家族の傷は癒えていない。
拉致から生還できず、安否に関する報告が無い、被害者が未だに多いのだ。
国連から距離を取るミャンマーの軍事政権は、ウクライナ情勢より、自国民への圧政と民主活動家に対する弾圧を継続している。
2022年12月17日、女優のTaraneh Alidoostiが、インスタグラムに投稿した際に掲げた発言を理由に、イラン政府に逮捕された(AFP Middle East 2022)。

二人の人間が公開処刑された、という事実だけで、Alidoosti の主張の論拠は明白であった。
公開処刑という事実が持つ説得性を超える、どの様な事実を証拠として、彼女が提示していれば、彼女は逮捕されずに済んだ、と言えるのだろうか？
いずれにせよ、イラン政府の一連の行いに正当性は無い。
ロシアのウクライナ侵略・侵攻に目を向け、ロシアに加担する勢力の動きを見せる国には、共通する性質が、潜んでいる事が明瞭だ。
それは、独裁、圧政、不平等、成文化されていない身分制を保持しよう、という醜い思想である。
だから、我々の一人一人が声を発しなくてはならないのだ。
