今度の手紙は郵便屋さんが届けた手紙ではないのです。

A new letter is not a letter that Mr. postman delivered.

お店の忙しい時間が過ぎて

Time when the shop is busy passes.

ひと時の安らぎと一服の時間に起こった出来事です。

It is an event that happened at the relief at one o'clock

and the time of a dose.

誰かがドアをノックしたのです。
Someone knocked the door.

コンコン、トントン、コンコン、トントン

Koff koff, ton ton, koff koff, and ton ton

お店の皆が不思議に思いました。

Everybody in the shop was wondered.
誰だろうね、こんな時間にね、不思議だよね。

Is it does sleep at such time, and mysterious?

その内の一人がドアに向かい扉を開きました。

One person in that faced the door

and the door was opened.

そこには、ビックリ仰天の物体が、ありました。

There was an object of the surprise astonishment there.

お店のマスコットの置物『三太』((サンタ)ちゃんが居たのです。

There was ornament (Santa) of the mascot in the shop.

一同が声をそろえて、梟の置物の『三太』((サンタ)ちゃんが帰ってきたよ!!

Everyone arranged the voice, and

owl's ornament (Santa) came back.

お帰り!!(サンタ)ちゃん!!

Welcome home (Santa).

皆が大喜びをしました。

Everyone did great joy.

でも何だか様子が変です??

However, is the appearance strange somehow?
陶器の置物なのに、凄く疲れ切っていました!!

It was terribly exhausted though

it was an ornament of earthenware.

何時もの元気ハツラツの(サンタ)ちゃんと違っていました。

It was neatly different of usual, energetic Hatsrats (Santa).
陶器製の綺麗な羽がボロボロになっています。

A beautiful wing made of earthenware is Boroboro.

随分と遠い所から飛んで来た様子なのです。

It seems to have flown from the remote place fairly.

そして、口には、大切な手紙を銜(くわ)えていました。

And, got an important letter in the mouth.

皆で傷ついた(サンタ)ちゃんを介抱してあげました。

It was looked after that it was damaged (Santa) all.
その後に、皆で手紙を読みました!!

Afterwards, it read a letter all.

その手紙には(サンタ)チャンの居なくなった、

前の日の出来事が、詳しく綴られていました。

The event that there was no Chang in the letter

(Santa) the day before was spelt in detail.

何時ものように、お空を見上げていたんだよ。

It looked up into the sky always.

寒いけれども、本当に綺麗な夜空だったよ。

It was a really beautiful night sky though it was cold.
お月様とお星様がキラキラと光っていて気持ちが良かったよ。

The moon and the star shone and

were comfortable with Kirakira.

不思議な出来事に出会ったんだよ!!

It met a mysterious event.
