ヨーコさんの序文

This world is separated into two industries: one being the War Industry and the other being the Peace Industry. People who are in the War Industry are totally unified by their ideas. They want to make war, kill, and make money. There is no argument there. They Just get on with their objectives. Therefore, in that sense, they are a tremendously powerful force.

But the people in the Peace Industry are like me: they are idealists and perfectionists. So they cannot agree with each other. They're always arguing in the pursuit of the 'perfect idea'. They are asking themselves and each other 'What is the best way to get peace?

Of course, it's MY way. What's wrong with YOUR way is that.

But instead of doing that, if we can only try to accept each other, forgive the differences and appreciate each other...because the fact is that all of us are in the Peace Industry.

There are some things about the War Industry that we can get some help from. And we should remember that.

If one billion people in the world think peace, we'll get peace.

You may think: 'Well, how are we going to get one billion people in the world to think PEACE?'

Remember, each one of us has the power to change the world.

Power works in mysterious ways. We don't have to do much.

Visualize the domino effect and just start thinking PEACE.

It's time for action. The action is PEACE.

The people who all worked on IMAGINE were Peace People and it was so enlightening and exciting all the way through to be one of them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Imagine..

 

この世界は 2 つの産業に分かれています。1 つは戦争産業、もう 1 つは平和産業です。

軍需産業に携わる人々は、その思想によって完全に統一されています。 彼らは戦争をし、殺し、金儲けをしたいのです。

そこには議論の余地はありません。 彼らはただ自分たちの目標を達成するだけです。 ですから、そういう意味では非常に大きな力であると思います。

しかし、平和産業の人々は私と同じで、理想主義者で完璧主義者です。 したがって、彼らはお互いに同意することができません。

彼らは「完璧なアイデア」を求めて常に議論しています。

彼らは自分自身に、そしてお互いに、「平和を得る最善の方法は何だろう？」と問いかけています。

もちろん、それは私のやり方です。

あなたのやり方で間違っているのは、それです。

しかし、そうする代わりに、私たちがお互いを受け入れ、違いを許し、感謝し合うように努めることができれば...なぜなら、私たち全員が平和産業に携わっているという事実があるからです。

軍需産業に関して、私たちが助けられることがいくつかあります。

そして私たちはそれを覚えておくべきです。

世界中の10億人が平和を考えれば、私たちにも平和が訪れるでしょう。

「それでは、どうすれば世界の 10 億人に平和について考えてもらうことができるのでしょうか?」と思うかもしれません。

私たち一人一人が世界を変える力を持っていることを忘れないでください。

力は不思議な働きをします。

あまり何もする必要はありません。

ドミノ効果を視覚化して、平和について考え始めてください。

行動を起こす時が来ました。

行動は平和です。

IMAGINE に携わった人たちは全員 Peace People で、その一員になれることはずっと啓発的で刺激的でした。

ありがとう、ありがとう、ありがとう。

時代はより分離の方向へ向かいつつあります。　向かおうとさせている勢力があると言った方がいいのかな。

そのまま、流されるのではなく、ひとりひとりが一歩立ち止まって、ちょっとだけ考えてみませんか。
