My answer of the logic problem (Honestants and Swindlecants I)


論理学問題への回答（正直者と嘘つき　そのI）


A is unknown, B is a swindlecant, and C is an honestant.


A は分からない。B はスゥインドルキャント。C はオネスタントである。


First: A must have said "I'm an Honestant."


まず：　A は「自分は、オネスタントだ。」と言ったはずである。


Because an Honestant can't say "I'm a Swindlecant" because that would be lying.


なぜなら、オネスタントは、「自分はスゥインドルキャントだ。」とは言うはずがない。嘘をつくことになるからである。


Alternatively, A Swindlecant can't say he's a Swindlecant because that'd be telling the truth.


一方で、スゥインドルキャントは自分がスゥインドルキャントであるとは言わないはず。事実を述べることになるからである。


But you never know whether A’s answer was true or not.


しかし、A の言ったことが真実か嘘かは、分からない。


Second: If A said "I'm an Honestant," B’s answer was a lie.


次に、仮に、A が「自分はオネスタントである。」と言ったとすれば、B の言ったことが虚偽となる。


Third: If B told a lie, C’s answer was the truth.


更に、もし B が嘘をついたとすれば、C の回答が真実となる。
